'Bare Studio Workshop' - Photographer Training in Ashburn

Really enjoyed teaching our latest class, 'The Bare Studio: Improvising Inside the Box', with my friend Roger Hammons at his studio in Ashburn, Virginia last Wednesday.

For this workshop we choose to work with an empty studio (no lights, posing aids or backgrounds ) and see how creative we could be finding light and creating great poses with that light. Our models did an excellent job and made our job so easy:-) - thank you Autumn and Katie!

Emma's six month baby portrait session - by Silver Spring newborn photographer

In May we were delighted to photograph the 6 month session of baby Emma at our Silver Spring photography studio. This session is the second of 4 that we will take during baby Emma's first year of life - the others are at nine months and 12 months. During each session we capture an image that will be included in a special photographic Art Piece (called the Baby Panel) that is included in our Baby Plan.
